Georgianne Fastaia was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1964. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from S.F.S.U. in 1988. She began painting in 2000 and has sold her work since 2002. Her involvement in the Arts is built upon extensive volunteer experience, most notably The Hillcrest Elementary Mural project for which she received a grant from the Phillips 66 corporation. She is an eloquent advocate for the arts, a Visual Aid Grant recipient, contributing writer for The Painters Keys and a guest reviewer at Art business.
An accomplished Painter, she has had many successful Solo Exhibitions and her Art is in private collections across the country. Her work has been featured in Artweek Magazine, The SF Chronicle, and the July 2009 issue of ELLE Décor magazine. She was invited to exhibit her work at the 2010 and 2011 International Art Fair and is exclusively represented by Nieto Fine Art. Her solo exhibition Evocations of Mystery at Nieto Fine Art was a well reviewed success.
